Smt. Sheela Rajendra a Post-Graduate in Education has been associated with the Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Group of Schools promoted by the legendary educationalist Mrs. Dr. Y. G. Parthasarathy Now the Deputy Dean, Director and Correspondent of the PSBB Group of Schools. Instrumental in introducing unique concepts like Lateral Thinking, Teen Think Tank (forum for Nation building) and other modules to promote quality Education and integrated development of the students. Indo-American Society made her the Woman Achiever of 2012. Also won the Lions Club Award for Best Administrator. Invited by the US Government on a Leadership Programme (IVLP). Travelled extensively both in India and abroad and gained International dimensions in Education.

Co-Convenors

Shri. M. N. Venkatesan a chartered accountant in practice over 35 years. An active social worker serving in the field of education for over 20 years as a part of Vivekananda Educational Society which at present runs and manages 27 schools in Chennai and Tamil Nadu. He is presently the secretary of VES. He is associated with IMCT since inception and is at present the Co-convenor.

Shri. V. Rajendran a Post Graduate in Physics and B.Ed is committed to education. The Chief Executive Officer in Dayananda Anglo Vedic Group of School, Adambakkam. He extended the reach of the group to other areas like Santhavelur, Kanchipuram. Presently in the process of extending a huge educational project at Coimbatore. His services in the cause of education has been recognised by institutions like the Lions Club.

Secretary

Shri. G. Subramaniam a Chartered Accountant of 45 years standing, has for the last more than two decades opted for to devote life exclusively for public service. Had been the President of Hindustan Chamber of Commerce and Gopalapuram Educational Society which runs four Schools. Had also been the Public Interest Director and Chairman of Madras Stock Exchange Limited. Is the Co-Founder of Hemophilia Society – Madras Chapter and Co-Founder of the Chartered Accountants Study Circle.

Members

Dr K.V.S.Gopalakrishnan (IPS, Retired) joined the Indian Police Service in 1975 (Tamil Nadu Cadre and retired as a Director-General of Police . He was a Minister in the Indian Embassy, Berlin (2004-2008). Awarded Ph.D. by the Univ. of Madras (2012). Recipient of President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service (2000); Indian Police Medal for Meritorious Service ( Republic Day 1994); and Prime Minister’s Life Saving Medal 1982. Presently the Honorary Secretary of the PS Educational Society, Managing Trustee of Vidya Vrikshah, Chennai dedicated to the cause of the visually impaired and also the Board Member of Guild of Service, Chennai.


Mohini Chordia Academician and Educationist. Post Graduate in Zoology from Rajasthan University, Jaipur.

Shri. Mukesh Mehta Chartered Accountant and company director. Past President – Lions Club of Madras Harbour, Gohilwad Mitra Mandal; Secretary – Gujarati Social Welfare Society; Treasurer – Shri A B Parekh Guj Vidya Mandir, Vivekananda Medical Mission; Trustee – BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir Chennai, Shri Gujarati Sahayakari Hospital, Shri Shankara Sanmatha Samiti; Committee Member – Z.P.H Kanya Kelavani Mandal IMCT.

Shri. Sankar Ramakrishnan a Chartered Accountant by qualification and a director of Bharat Logistics Solutions Pvt Ltd, an international logistics professional for 2 decades, a representative from Sankara Group of Schools initiated and guided by the Kanchi Sankaracharyas, a trustee in Hindu Seva Samajam Trust & Amarabharathi Charities running Schools under different boards including the matriculation, cbsc, Edexcel & Cambridge; running free senior citizen homes, medical clinics, besides other charitable activities for the poor. Also a Rotarian & held some responsibilities with Rotary club of Madras south.

Shri. Swami Vinayamrita Chaitanya is In-charge Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Chennai in the year 1997. Also the Correspondent of Amrita Vidyalayams at K. K. Nagar & Kovur in Chennai. An Engineering graduate, worked in Neyveli Lignite Corporation, joined Ashram in the year 1989, served as Principal at Industrial Training Center at Math in Puthiyakavu, Kollam and later took charge of Madurai Math.
